The university has been offering education to international students since 2005. Currently, it hosts over 160 students from Russia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Morocco, Palestine, Iraq, India, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ghana, Guinea, Cameroon, China, Syria, Burundi, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, and Germany. The majority of international students come from the Kingdom of Morocco, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Russian Federation, China, and Turkmenistan.
The most popular fields of study among international students include oil and gas engineering, mechanical engineering, power supply systems, information systems and technologies, and economics.

The university provides favorable conditions for learning, living, and recreation, which supports the smooth adaptation of international students to life in Belarus and their studies at the university. Students are accommodated in modern, comfortable dormitories with 2- or 3-bed rooms. In addition, the university offers ample opportunities for leisure and wellness activities. There are open sports grounds, various athletic clubs, and for students with creative interests, the Student Club offers participation in a choir, a vocal studio, and a contemporary dance ensemble.
An International Friendship Club has been established at the university for international students, and festive events and concerts are regularly held to celebrate national holidays of the countries the students represent.
