On December 17, in anticipation of the New Year, a truly creative atmosphere reigned in Student Dormitory No. 1 of the Sukhoi State Technical University Of Gomel. A special workshop, "New Year's Creativity," was organized for international students, allowing them not only to learn about local holiday traditions but also to create a piece of magic with their own hands.

The event was led by dorm counselors Lyudmila Aleksandrovna Briseva and Alla Ivanovna Borkunova. Under their guidance, students from various countries immersed themselves in the creative process with great interest and enthusiasm. The main focus of the workshop was the creation of vibrant holiday cards for greeting friends and family, as well as the creation of a variety of Christmas tree decorations.

All completed projects were distinguished by their individuality and imagination. The garlands, toys, and cards created by the students weren't just a class assignment—they became true decorations for the dorm rooms, filling them with holiday anticipation and warmth. Such workshops play an important role in the international students' adaptation process, helping them get to know each other better through shared creativity and feel part of the extended university family.

This event has become a long-standing tradition, fostering a cozy, homey atmosphere in the dorm and blurring cultural boundaries, uniting everyone in anticipation of the most magical holiday of the year.
