To ensure this experience is entirely positive, Sukhoi Gomel State Technical University hosted an important meeting with international students.

The event, held on December 3, was dedicated to explaining the rules of stay in the Republic of Belarus and reminding them of the need to strictly adhere to the country's laws. The purpose of the meeting was to ensure the safety and comfort of the students themselves and prevent possible misunderstandings due to ignorance of the intricacies of immigration and administrative law.

The audience heard from competent specialists whose daily work involves maintaining law and order and national security:

- Alexander Nikolaevich Galitsky, Head of the Citizenship and Migration Department of the Gomel Department of Internal Affairs (Police Major), provided a detailed discussion of key issues related to registration, visa and residence permit extensions, entry and exit regulations, and administrative liability for violating them.

- Alexey Leonidovich Volkov, Senior Officer of the 2nd Department of the 3rd Directorate of Military Unit 1242 (Captain), emphasized the need for vigilance and awareness in matters related to compliance with the rules of stay and safety regulations.

During the meeting, students received not just dry information from codes, but practical recommendations and clear action plans for various situations. They were able to ask experts pressing questions regarding their stay in Gomel and received authoritative, first-hand answers.
