On September 22, Gomel Polytechnic University breathed a sigh of relief! The university held a preventative campaign, "We Are Against Smoking," in which students expressed their clear position: YES to a healthy lifestyle, NO to tobacco smoke!

The campaign was held in an interactive format to fully engage students in the discussion of smoking and its consequences. The main element of the event was a photo zone with the hashtag #WeAreAgainstSmoking, where students could take photos and share their thoughts on social media.

Students also actively interacted with experienced specialists – educational psychologist Irina Rubanovich and social educator Svetlana Frolova. In a confidential conversation, they discussed the harm of smoking and its impact on health, appearance, academic performance, and social life.

"We want students to understand that smoking is not fashionable, cool, or stylish," noted the organizers. "A healthy lifestyle is what is truly valuable and prestigious!"
