On June 8, 2025, Minsk hosted a landmark event for Belarusian sports—the grand opening of the National Football Stadium, the largest in the country.

With a seating capacity of 33,000 spectators, the stadium's first event was a friendly match between the youth teams of Belarus and China.

Among the honored guests were representatives from the Polytechnic Institute, who had the opportunity to witness the game firsthand and appreciate the stadium's modern infrastructure.
