From June 3 to 4, 2025, GSTU hosted an official visit from Nilesh Advani, Deputy Director for International Relations at Marwadi University (Republic of India).

The meeting aimed to strengthen scientific and technical cooperation between the universities and discuss prospects for the development of academic exchange programs. Key topics of discussion included:

• Joint implementation of research projects.
• Exchange of advanced educational practices.
• Organization of short-term internships for students and faculty.
• Development of a "Visiting Professor" program.
• Expansion of international student mobility.

The visit was part of efforts to promote educational collaboration between Belarus and India, with both parties expressing a strong commitment to strengthening partnerships for the advancement of science and education in both countries.

A warm welcome was extended to the Indian university representative by GSTU officials, including Rector A.V. Putsiata, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs G.V. Petrishin, Head of the International Relations Department N.L. Zhuravskaya, and International Relations Specialist E.R. Karpov.

Key agreements reached during the negotiations:

• Implementation of a short-term internship program.
• Launch of an initiative to invite Indian professors.
• Strengthening cooperation in scientific research.
• Expanding international academic mobility.

The visit marked a significant step toward enhancing educational collaboration between Sukhoi State Technical University and Marwadi University, opening new opportunities for students and faculty.
