IV Republican Forum of Young Scientists of Higher Education Institutions with International Participation
From May 18 to May 20, 2025, the IV Republican Forum of Young Scientists of Higher Education Institutions with International Participation was held at Francisk Skorina Gomel State University. Representatives of our university, including members of the Council of Young Scientists and the Student Council, actively participated in the event.

Semak, Lecturer at the Department of Belarusian and Foreign Languages β’ Mohammed F. S. H. Al-Kamali, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Industrial Electronics, Senior Researcher of the Research and Innovation Center β’ S.M. El-Sherbini, Postgraduate Student of the Department of Materials Science in Mechanical Engineering, Specialist at the Ideological and Educational Work Department.
πΉ Student Council: β’ Boris A. Kochkin, Chair of the Student Council, student of group RT-21 β’ Anna A. Shtoka, student of group TT-11 β’ Anastasia V. Asadchaya, student of group UB-21 The three-day forum welcomed over 300 students, postgraduates, and young scientists from Belarus, Russia, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan.
The forum featured an extensive educational program, including city excursions, industrial visits, scientific discussions, and cultural activities. Among the key events were: πΉ Opening ceremony with a floral tribute at the Heroes' Alley Memorial πΉ Scientific exhibition showcasing the research achievements of universities in the Gomel region πΉ Plenary session with speeches from high-ranking officials, including: β’ Pavel N. Pecutko, Head of the Department of Science and Innovation at the Ministry of Education of Belarus β’ Sergei A. Khakhomov, Rector of Francisk Skorina Gomel State University

Kuchvalsky, Chair of the Council of Young Scientists of NAS Belarus.
Participants visited leading industrial facilities in Gomel, including: Gomselmash, Gomel Glass Plant, Gomel Casting & Normals Plant, SALEO-Gomel, GomelOblAutoTrans Museum, and StankoGomel.
