Tambov State Technical University on Gomel land: Polytechnic Welcomes the "Roads of Memory" Auto Rally
On April 27, a delegation from the Sukhoi State Technical University of Gomel, led by the university administration and the student council, welcomed a delegation from Tambov State Technical University, which arrived in our city as part of the large-scale "Roads of Memory" auto rally!

The rector of Gomel State Technical University, Artur Vladimirovich Putiata, addressed the guests: "On behalf of Gomel Polytechnic and myself personally, I warmly welcome you and the entire delegation of Tambov State Technical University, who have come to Gomel with such an important and symbolic auto rally – 'Roads of Memory'!

We are sincerely glad to host you on Belarusian soil and are confident that your visit will become a significant event in the history of our universities. This auto rally is not just a tribute to the heroic pages of the past but also a powerful symbol of unity, friendship, and cooperation between our peoples.

We hope that the program we have prepared will allow you not only to get to know our university and city better but also to strengthen our shared historical memory. I am convinced that our cooperation will be fruitful and will contribute to the further development of educational and scientific ties between our universities."

Upon arriving in Gomel, the guests enjoyed a walk along the embankment, visited historical sites, and got acquainted with the local architecture and culture, leaving a lasting impression on the Tambov visitors.

But the city tour was just the beginning! Ahead, the Tambov guests had an eventful program, including discussions on cooperation, visits to memorial sites, and participation in patriotic activities.

On April 28, the delegations from both universities discussed the prospects of signing an agreement on educational services, opening new opportunities for students of both institutions. They exchanged experiences in the field of education, discussed current areas of cooperation, and explored possibilities for joint programs.

The expected agreement will provide students access to unique educational resources, internships, and scientific projects, further strengthening ties between the two universities.

After the discussions, participants visited the military-historical complex " Partizanskaya Krinichka," which reflects the unparalleled courage and resilience of the defenders of our homeland. This site is not only a place to honor the heroism of partisans and underground fighters but also a center for military-patriotic and moral education, constantly reminding the younger generation of the price paid by their ancestors to defend the country's independence.

Here, rally participants connected with the history of the Great Patriotic War and fulfilled a sacred duty by laying flowers in memory of those who gave their lives for freedom and peaceful skies.
An important symbol of friendship was the planting of the "Friendship Apple Tree"—representatives of both universities jointly planted a tree brought from Tambov to Gomel. This tree became a symbol of fruitful cooperation between the universities.
