Belarusian-Moroccan Dialogue on Master's Programs: A Step Towards Joint Education
As part of strengthening international cooperation, an online meeting took place on April 25 between representatives of Hassan II University in Casablanca (Kingdom of Morocco) and Sukhoi State Technical University of Gomel.
The main topic of discussion was the prospects for cooperation in the field of higher education, as well as opportunities for Moroccan university graduates to pursue master's studies at the Belarusian university.
On the Moroccan side, the meeting was attended by Professors M. Malamane, B. Nui, and H. Kandali. On the Belarusian side, the participants included: First Vice-Rector D.G. Krol, Dean of the Humanities and Economics Faculty M.N. Andriyanchikova, Dean of the Mechanical Engineering Faculty M.G. Gegedesh, Dean of the Faculty of Automated and Information Systems I.I. Sutoryma, Head of the International Relations Department N.L. Zhuravskaya, and International Relations Department Specialist V.M. Savchenko.
The parties exchanged information about educational programs, admission and study conditions, discussed options for academic exchanges and joint research projects. Special attention was given to issues of adapting international students and creating a favorable educational environment.
During the meeting, preliminary agreements were reached on signing a memorandum of cooperation between the universities.
