On April 14–15, 2025, a delegation from Sukhoi State Technical University, consisting of the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Grigory Petrishin, and the Head of the International Relations Department, Natalia Zhuravskaya, visited the partner university "Kaili University" in Kaili, People's Republic of China.

The main purpose of the visit was to present the higher education programs of GSTU and to strengthen scientific and cultural ties between the institutions.

During the visit, representatives of GSTU held negotiations with the leadership of Kaili University regarding the resumption of work on the establishment of a joint specialty, "Information Engineering."

The necessary documents were agreed upon and signed, bringing the opening of this specialty closer.

The Rector of Kaili University highly praised the technical facilities of GSTU, which he had noted during his previous visit to Belarus.

As part of the collaboration, master's programs for graduates of Kaili University were also presented. In addition, the GSTU delegation conducted interviews with candidates interested in obtaining quality education at GSTU.

We look forward to welcoming future master's students to the hospitable Belarusian land! This visit marked another step toward strengthening international cooperation and promoting the educational programs of GSTU on the global stage.
