On April 1st, the qualifying stage of the Student League of the International Engineering Championship CASE-IN in the field of "Oil and Gas Industry" was held at Sukhoi State Technical University.

Five teams from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering — "Neftyanochki," "Look at Oil," "Collectors," "Neftosy," and "Black Gold" — competed for tickets to the Championship Finals, which will take place at the end of May 2025 in Moscow. There, the winners will present their final projects, establish valuable professional connections, and gain unique practical knowledge that will help them enhance production efficiency.

The 13th season of the championship in the Student League is dedicated to the unified theme of "Technological Innovations." In 2025, the organizers of the International Engineering Championship CASE-IN include the "Reliable Change" Foundation, the non-profit partnership "Youth Leaders Forum of Mining Affairs," the company "Astrologica," and the presidential platform "Russia - Land of Opportunities." The strategic partner for the "Oil and Gas Industry" direction is PJSC "YATEK."

Participants were welcomed by the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Grigoriy Valentinovich Petrishin, who wished the teams luck, inspiration, and bright victories.

Teams presented solutions to real-world problems to experts, including representatives of the academic community of the university, as well as the leading engineer from "BelNIPINeft," Oleg Leonidovich Voytekhin.
