FAIS Students - Winners of the MultiOlympiad
On March 14, Pi Day, students from our university participated in the International MultiOlympiad for school and university students in "Informatics and Programming Technologies." The event took place simultaneously at two venues: Francisk Skorina Gomel State University and Pskov State University (Pskov, Russia).
The Olympiad featured team competitions across three disciplines: mathematics, informatics, and English language. Participants included students from universities in Gomel, Brest, Mozyr, Novopolotsk, and Pskov, as well as school students from Gomel and the Gomel region—more than 30 teams in total. Our university was represented by five teams comprised of first- and second-year students from the Faculty of Automated and Information Systems.
All participants performed admirably, gained new knowledge, and left with memorable experiences. The IP/TM team won in the Mathematics category. Team composition: Ruslan Batraev, Yaroslav Kuznetsov, Ilya Pinchuk (all from group IP-21). Congratulations to all the guys for participating.
