December 6, 2024 the Sukhoi State Technical University of Gomel held the III scientific and technical conference of students, undergraduates and graduate students MITRO2024 “Mechanical Engineering. Innovation. Technologies. Robotics” on the basis of the Department of Oil and Gas Development and Hydropneumatic Automatics of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, which has been organized for the third year in a row by Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Nevzorova A.B.

The conference program accepted applications from 143 participants from 8 countries (Belarus, Russia, Egypt, Iraq, China, Tatarstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan) from 10 universities and scientific organizations.
At the opening of the conference, the chairman of the organizing committee, vice-rector for academic affairs, candidate of technical sciences, associate professor Petrishin G.V. made an introductory speech to the participants, then the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, candidate of technical sciences, associate professor Gegedesh M.G. spoke with wishes for successful work.
The plenary session of the conference was held in the mode of a scientific Intellect tournament. 12 of the most interesting reports were heard. Section meetings were held separately at the Department of Oil and Gas Development and Hydropneumatic Automatics. The conference participants presented their first research results in the following areas: technologies of the mechanical engineering and oil industries, innovations in design and modeling, robotics and additive technologies.
The conference took place in a creative, friendly atmosphere, in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and cooperation. All works were accompanied by multimedia presentations, which indicates a fairly high level of knowledge of information and communication technologies. There was an interesting and useful exchange of speaking experience and knowledge.
The purpose of the conference was to involve talented students and young scientists in research and innovation activities, as well as increase publication literacy and activity, exchange of information, experience and achievements in the field of mechanical engineering and technology research. The best reports were awarded diplomas and sweet gifts, and were also recommended for publication in the collection of conference abstracts.
