On November 27-28, 2024, the III Forum of Rectors of Higher Educational Institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Belarus “Education as the most important factor in strengthening bilateral ties between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Belarus” was held at the Technological University of Tajikistan (Dushanbe).

The opening ceremony of the Forum was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of Tajikistan and Belarus, as well as heads of universities of the two countries, including the rector of the Sukhoi State Technical University of Gomel Putsiata Arthur Vladimirovich. Forum participants visited an exhibition of achievements of the Technological University of Tajikistan, where innovations, developments and scientific projects of the university were presented. After this, a plenary session took place. The rector of the Sukhoi State Technical University made a report on the topic: “Sukhoi State Technical University of Gomel: proposals for cooperation with universities of the Republic of Tajikistan." Next, a solemn ceremony of signing bilateral agreements between universities of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Belarus took place. Thus, Polytech found new partners, namely: Branch of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov in the city of Dushanbe; Technological University of Tajikistan; International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan; Tajik Agrarian University named after Shirinsho Shotemur. At the end of the forum, a final resolution was adopted, which is designed to expand cooperation in the field of education between the two countries and become the basis for further strengthening scientific and educational ties.
