Addressing the audience, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Grigory Valentinovich Petrishin noted: “Attending classes is not only your responsibility, but also the key to successful learning. Regular attendance at lectures and participation in seminars allows you to assimilate educational material and actively interact with teachers and classmates. We understand that each of you may have circumstances that prevent you from attending classes, but persistent absences can negatively affect your performance and lead to serious consequences, including the possibility of expulsion. I strongly recommend that you treat the educational process as responsibly as possible.”

Particular attention at the event was paid to compliance with the rules of residence in the dormitory. “We understand that a dormitory is not only a place to live, but also a space for communication, study and spending time together. To create a comfortable environment for everyone, it is extremely important to adhere to the established rules. Maintaining silence at night, maintaining cleanliness in common areas, respectful attitude towards neighbors - all this contributes to creating a comfortable environment for all students. Failure to comply with these requirements may also result in serious consequences, including disciplinary action. We strive to create conditions in which each of you can maximize your potential, and we expect you to respect your environment,” noted Grigory Valentinovich.
The students were especially interested in learning about the plans of the university administration to improve living conditions and the planned major renovation of the blocks where foreign students live.
Inna Mikhailovna Kononovich, police captain, inspector of the group for work with foreign citizens and stateless persons at the District Department of Internal Affairs Administration in the Soviet District of Gomel, also addressed the participants of the open dialogue. She dwelled in detail on some important aspects of the legislation of the Republic of Belarus and emphasized that following established norms and rules is the key to comfortable and safe living in the country.
