On October 17, 2024, the Forum of University Rectors of the BRICS Countries began in Moscow, to which heads of universities of the Republic of Belarus were also invited. The forum was held on October 17-18, 2024 in the Lomonosov building of Moscow State University.

Rectors of not only the BRICS countries take part, but also many other countries: Russia, Brazil, India, China, Belarus, Africa, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Palestine, UAE, Ethiopia and others.

Putsiata Artur Vladimirovich, the rector of the Sukhoi State Technical University of Gomel, took part in the Forum.
