The Republic of Belarus is a common home for many peoples of the most diverse ethnic and religious backgrounds.

On April 18, Sukhoi State Technical University of Gomel. GSTU for the ninth time hospitably opened its doors to foreign students from different universities of Belarus and became a center of unification with other nations through music, songs and dances, a center of friendship and optimism.

This year, for the ninth time, a traditional event for our university was held - the inter-university creative festival of friendship, which was attended by students from ten countries studying at six higher education institutions of the Republic of Belarus.

The festival, which is eagerly awaited at the Polytechnic, is a symbol of peace and international friendship on Belarusian soil, the unity of nations and peoples, their spiritual wealth and creative potential. This is a unique opportunity to observe a real constellation of talents of representatives of different nationalities who live, study and work in our country.

While waiting for the start of the significant event, guests and participants of the festival could see an exhibition of national cultural items, which was displayed in the lobby of the cultural and sports complex, and be imbued with the color of the various nations of the world.

After the performances of all teams, a concert program unfolded on the stage with the participation of Belarusian students from GSTU  and students from the Belarusian State Medical University.

The final chord of the friendship festival was a ceremonial awarding of participants with diplomas for winning in various nominations and prizes.
