On February 29, the 1st International Scientific and Technical Conference ERA – Modern Science: Electronics, Robotics, Automation” started at our university, organized by the Automation and Information Systems Faculty.

At the grand opening of the conference, the rector of the Sukhoi State Technical University of Gomel gave a welcoming speech to students, undergraduates and young scientists.

Before the start of the event, a scientific and technical exhibition about the Automation and Information Systems Faculty. was organized for all participants and guests.
After the grand opening, work began in sections. A total of 181 reports were submitted from universities in the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, the People's Republic of China, the Republic of India, the Yemen Republic, Saudi Arabia, the Turkish Republic, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Republic of Iraq, and Libya.

Representatives of Taiz University (Yemen), Scientific Organization for Research and Innovation (Yemen), Belarusian-Russian University, Vologda State University (Russia), Ajinkya University D.Ya. took part in the conference. Patil (India), Grodno State University named after Yanka Kupala, Tambov State Technical University (Russia), Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, Belarusian National Technical University, Belarusian State University of Transport, Altynbas University (Turkey), Mansoura University (Egypt), Xi'ana University of Electronic Sciences and Technology (China), Kirkuk University (Iraq), Ministry of Education of Iraq, Helwan University (Egypt), Gomel State Medical University, Ibb University (Yemen), King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (Saudi Arabia), Polotsk State University named after Euphrosyne of Polotsk, Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P. Shamyakin, Institute of Chemistry of New Materials of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, China Pharmaceutical University, Shakra University (Saudi Arabia), Belarusian State Academy of Communications, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University (Marathwada University) (Republic of India), Al-Janada University of Science and Technology ( Yemen).

The conference will be organized in 2 sections: “Electrical systems and complexes” and “Information technologies and modeling”.

The section leaders were presented by members of the Council of Young Scientists of the GSTU: Ph.D., senior researcher at the Research Institute, associate professor of the Department of Industrial Electronics Al-Kamali M.F.; Assistant of the Department of Information Technologies Gumennikov E.D.; graduate student, trainee teacher, engineer of the Department of Industrial Electronics Zapolsky A.E., graduate student of the Department of Materials Science in Mechanical Engineering Elsherbini S.M.

60 reports were submitted to the section “Electrical systems and complexes”, 121 reports were submitted to the section “Information technologies and modeling”. The range of presented reports is as diverse as possible, from the development of an asynchronous electric drive with a soft starter to the design of a custom operating system, from the development of a software package for promoting university educational services and the use of neural networks in solving various problems to the development of a metamessenger.
On March 1, the closing ceremony of the conference took place with the presentation of diplomas for the best reports and certificates for participation.
