To help guests improve their everyday life, avoid serious conflicts and maintain order, hostels have their own laws and rules. February 6 in the hostel No. 2 of the Sukhoi State Technical University of Gomel, a round table was organized for foreign students to discuss the problems that students encountered during their stay, and issues the solution of which will minimize the occurrence of conflict situations or misunderstandings in the future. Particular attention at the meeting was paid to access control and the issue of visiting guests by persons not living in the hostel. The guys were once again reminded that thanks to strict adherence to the regime, all students living in the dormitory can count on peace and security.
They also discussed issues of compliance with fire safety rules, safety precautions when using electrical appliances, careful treatment of hostel property, engineering and technical equipment, economical use of water and electrical energy, keeping residential and adjacent premises clean, timely payment for housing and communal services and use of residential premises. The conversation was fruitful; all the nuances were explained to foreign students and answers to numerous questions were given. For better understanding, a translation into French was provided for female students from the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
