At GSTU, in the last week of December, events are traditionally held in order to improve the prevention of crime among foreign students during the New Year holidays.

     December 28, 2023 At the university, a meeting of foreign students was held with the inspector of the group for work with foreign citizens and stateless persons. The meeting was attended by university staff. At the meeting, issues of prevention, safety of behavior during festive mass celebrations, and compliance with the rules of living in a hostel were discussed. As part of the event, foreign students were instructed about the inadmissibility of using pyrotechnic products, the rules of safe behavior in large crowds of people, as well as responsibility for committing illegal actions in public places. All information was translated into English, French and Arabic for better understanding by foreign students.
