The Regional Stage of the Republican Youth Project “100 Ideas for Belarus” Was Held оn the Basis of Sukhoi State Technical University of Gomel
What problem will the directory of food additives in the Telegram messenger solve, how the production of “African bread” from cassava can affect the health of the population, how can the efficiency and comfort of living space be increased, are there any new ideas in the field of healthcare? December 19 at the Sukhoi State Technical University of Gomel passed the regional stage of the republican youth project “100 Ideas for Belarus”, the participants of which presented several dozen innovative projects in a variety of fields: from IT to healthcare and energy.
During its existence, the project, which started in September 2011 on the initiative of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union, has become not only the calling card of the youth organization, but also the brand of young independent Belarus. Today it is a basic startup for the development of a national movement of young scientists, inventors, and innovators. This is an excellent opportunity to express yourself and get help in the development and support of your author’s project.
The busy program of the competition did not allow its participants to get bored - the design of the exhibition area, the defense of the project before the expert Council and the long-awaited summing up of the results for the whole day captured the attention of the youth of the Gomel region, engaged in the development and promotion of science in the country. The brightest, most proactive and caring representatives of young people presented unique ideas for several hours: the creation of an ecosystem of automated growth, the development of an application for providing basic medical care with consultations “Pocket Clinic”, the opening of the tourist platform “Vandrounik”, a method of automated monitoring of bacterial growth and many others.
The authors not only talked about their projects, but also indicated how they were going to implement them, how much time and money would be needed to scale up the ideas. At the same time, participants could receive comments from competent experts who were presented in each section. They suggested where to direct projects next, how they could be improved and what needed to be improved,
After the exhibition and defense, the expert council began to evaluate the presented developments. As a result of long discussions, competent members of the jury still managed to identify 17 best projects that will represent the Gomel region in the qualifying round of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus in January 2024.
Congratulations to the winners and wish them success in implementing their most daring ideas!
