On November 23-24, 2023, the XIII International Scientific and Practical Conference “Strategy and Tactics for the Development of Production and Economic Systems” was held, which was dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the Sukhoi State Technical University of Gomel and the upcoming 50th anniversary of the Faculty of Humanities and Economics.

The conference participants were scientists and researchers from Belarus, Russia, Turkmenistan, Tatarstan, Donetsk People's Republic, Italy, Yemen, and India.

The plenary session was opened by the rector of our university, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor A.V. Putyato, and the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Economics, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor M.N. Andriyanchikova addressed the conference participants with a welcoming speech.

As part of the plenary presentations, a report was made by S.A. Elizarov, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Social, Humanitarian and Legal Disciplines. about the history of the creation and formation of the Gomel State Technical University, candidate of technical sciences Marwan F. S. Kh.Al-Kamali presented the results of research in the field of creation and use of nanomaterials. Of particular interest to the audience was the report of Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor A.B. Nevzorova, who touched upon the issues of using electric vehicles and the prospects for the development of the automotive industry in this direction.

During the sectional sessions, reports were heard that revealed the current state and directions for improving marketing activities, economics and management in various sectors of the national economy, mechanical engineering and energy, metallurgy and electronics.
