From 23.10.2023 to 27.10.2023 Automation and Information Systems Faculty of Sukhoi State Technical University of Gomel  took part in the XIX International Festival of National Cultures, which was held at The Bonch-Bruevich St Petersburg State University of Telecommunications

An exhibition of creative works by foreign students from Venezuela, Yemen, Nigeria, Uganda, Armenia, Uzbekistan and other countries was organized at the forum. Throughout the week, team sports competitions were held, in which teams of foreign students from various universities in St. Petersburg took part. The winners were awarded prizes, which were presented by the university administration, representatives of diplomatic missions of foreign countries, and heads of recruiting companies.

At the end of the event there was a concert of groups of foreign students presenting folk songs and dances of their countries. Some students sang songs in Russian. An original presentation was made by a student from Yemen, who read an excerpt from the poem by A.S. Pushkin.

The event turned out to be exciting. The students tried very hard. The festival guests really enjoyed everything. The participation of the representative of FAIS, the dean of the faculty Sutorma I.I., was noted with gratitude from the leadership of St. Petersburg University.
