The representatives of Sukhoi State State Technical University of Gomel, Vice-Rector for Research Boiko A.A. and Dean of Mechanical Engineering Faculty Petrishin G.V., arrived with an official visit to the President of Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology on 19 October 2023. The President of the University expressed his gratitude that GSTU agreed to take part in the Silk Road Alliance of Architectural and Technological Universities and expressed interest in cooperation on joint educational programmes. Boiko A.A. thanked for the invitation and proposed to add joint scientific projects and developments to the cooperation.

After discussing the prospects of cooperation, the Memorandum of Cooperation between Sukhoi State Technical University of Gomel and Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology (PRC) was officially signed.
