Within the official opening of the Silk Road International Alliance of Architectural and Technological Universities Conference (PRC) at the plenary session featuring representatives from 16 participating countries, A.A. Boyko, Vice-Rector for Research, made a report about the state of higher education in the Republic of Belarus and opportunities of Sukhoi State Technical University of Gomel and participated in the official signing of the Memorandum on the Alliance establishment in the historical building of Xi'an University.

After signing the Memorandum our university became one of the founders and a full member of the Silk Road Alliance of Architectural and Technological Universities. The Association was established to support and develop education in technical universities of the countries included in the New Silk Road program.

As part of the alliance, our university can apply for the establishment of new teaching and research laboratories, organize academic exchange of students with universities in China and other Silk Road countries and get the opportunity to expand the list of partners and accelerate the development of science, education and international activities.
