The first day of the Silk Road International Alliance of Architectural and Technological Universities Conference on "Building a beautiful home for mankind with a focus on urbanisation", which is held in Xi'an (People's Republic of China), took place on October 18, 2023. Our University is represented by the Vice-Rector for Research Boiko A.A. and Dean of the Mechanical Engineering Faculty Petrishin G.V.

Petrishin G.V. made a report on scientific developments of GSTU including those for the oil industry enterprises.

After the plenary session, our representatives held talks with Lu Kaiwu, Dean of the School of Resource Engineering, concerning cooperation between our universities in the fields of education, science and academic exchange. Both sides are confident of the bright prospects for such cooperation.

This conference is only the beginning of a long way to increase the recognition of Sukhoi State Technical University of Gomel in China and South-East Asian countries.
