Sukhoi State Technical University of Gomel took part in the XV International School-Conference “Current Problems of Microworld Physics”

From August 28 to September 3, the XV International School-Conference “Current Problems of Microworld Physics” was held in Minsk. The school-conference is held on the basis of the Westa hotel complex (Belarus) and is organized jointly by the Institute of Nuclear Problems of the BSU and the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR, Dubna, Russia) with the active support of the State Committee for Science and Technology (SCST) of the Republic of Belarus.

The scientific program of the event covers the latest experimental results from world accelerator centers; research programs for future experiments, non-accelerator physics, astrophysics and cosmology; new trends in quantum field theory; radiobiology and nuclear medicine; nuclear electronics and detectors; new trends in materials science, data processing and facility design. The conference school was organized with the aim of providing specialists with a platform to present the latest results in the fields of science announced at the event, as well as to allow undergraduate and graduate students to immerse themselves in the topics of the conference. In addition, at the event, young scientists have the opportunity to present their scientific work as part of a poster session.

The current school-conference continues the series of Gomel schools held on the territory of Belarus and which have already become traditional - the first school-conference was organized in 1971.
