The meeting of foreign students with officers of migration office took place at Sukhoi State Technical University of Gomel on February 28.

The purpose of the meeting is to comply with the legislation of the Republic of Belarus, prevent offenses and crimes among students from among foreign citizens. The meeting discussed the observance of the rule of law when crossing the border of the Republic of Belarus, timely execution of documents for moving outside the Republic of Belarus, early provision of documents for re-registration to the citizenship and migration department when changing the place of residence, legal employment of foreign students in the Republic of Belarus, registration of health insurance.

To better and correctly understand the issues discussed, the International Relations Department provided translation into English and French for students from African countries.
