The meeting of foreign students, students of the department of pre-university training and career guidance with employees of the migration department, the border service, the university administration took place at Sukhoi State Technical University of Gomel. The purpose of the meeting is to comply with the legislation of the Republic of Belarus, prevent offenses and crimes among students among foreign citizens.

 Employees of the Gomel Border Group presented a presentation on the prevention of illegal crossing of the border of the Republic of Belarus by foreign citizens.

To better and correctly understand the issues discussed, the International Relations Department provided translation into English and French for students from African countries.

There was discussed the observance of the rule of law when crossing the border of the Republic of Belarus, timely execution of documents for moving outside the Republic of Belarus, early provision of documents for re-registration to the citizenship and migration department when changing the place of residence, legal employment of foreign students in the Republic of Belarus, registration of health insurance.
