From December 14 to 22, 2019 the "Seminar of New Materials Used for Intelligent Agricultural Machines" took place in Yantai, People's Republic of China, Shandong Province. The organizer was the China and Russian Technopark OOO "Yantai Hi-Tech Company for International Cooperation "Association of High and New Technologies SILK WAY". The seminar was attended by Igor N. Stepankin, Head of the Department of Materials Science in Engineering. The scientific and pedagogical community of Yantai State University and Shandong State Polytechnical University was presented a report on modern scientific developments of Sukhoi State Technical University of Gomel in the field of adaptive hardening of materials for mobile equipment parts; new specialties concerning three-dimensional synthesis of machine parts with a gradient of cross-sectional properties, robotics, mechatronics, automation of engineering processes.

Igor N. Stepankin had productive discussion with Director General of the Yantai Hi-Tech International Science and Technology Cooperation Company, Mr. Zhang Zhenshong; Head of the International Cooperation Department Zhang Xijun; Dean of the Mechanical Engineering Faculty Ma Guoging; Dean of the Electrical Engineering University Zhang Nan; Dean of the Economics Faculty Song Yan; Deputy Dean of the Economics Faculty of Yantai University Li Zheije; Vice-Rector Yi Yuchen; Head of the International Department Li Xinhong; Deputy Dean of Mechanical and Technological Faculty Cheng Xiang; Professor of the Industrial Technologies Department of Shandong Polytechnic University Ge Wenqing.

Our representative held meetings with the administration of industrial enterprises manufacturing robotics and mobile machines: General Manager of NOBOT Intelligent Equipment Zhenpend Chen and the representative of Norbert Intelligent Equipment (Shandong) Co., Ltd Mingzheng Yan.

According to the negotiation results, it has been planned to expand cooperation between representatives of our University and Chinese colleagues in 2020. Events on the presentation of our University developments have been included into the plan of innovative cooperation of the China and Russian Technopark OOO "Yantai Hi-Tech Company for International Cooperation "Association of High and New Technologies SILK WAY".
