For the fifth time our University opens its doors for students from Democratic Republic of the Congo, People's Republic of China, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan. The Festival was dedicated to the International Student's Day and gathered participants from 7 Universities:

Sukhoi State Technical University of Gomel, Belarusian Trade and Economics University of Consumer Cooperatives, Francisk Skorina Gomel State University, Belarusian State University of Transport, Gomel State Medical University, Belarusian-Russian University (Mogilev), Polotsk State University.

At the beginning of the event the Vice Rector for Education and Educative Work, Doctor of Sociology, Professor, Chairman of the organizing committee and the jury of the Festival Viktor V. Kirienko welcomed the participants and guests of the Festival.

The Festival was opened by the dance group “Galkynysh” which united students from three Gomel Universities: Sukhoi State Technical University of Gomel, Belarusian State University of Transport and Francisk Skorina Gomel State University.

Foreign students showed high level talent skills, which impressed the audience. National colourful costumes, cheerful emotions and vivid performances made special festive atmosphere.

The festival jury evaluated vocal, instrumental, dance and drama performances. The winners were defined in each nominations and awarded with Diplomas, prizes and presents.

The award ceremony was held by Elena M. Konkina, Head of the Department of Educational Work with Youth. She said kind words to the participants and thanked everyone for this wonderful Festival of arts and talent.

At the end of the event there was the photoshooting for participants, heads of delegations and guests.

The Organizing Committee thanks all festival participants, dance group of GSTU (the Head is Ekaterina A.Lapitskaya), folk school of modern ballet of Cultural Centre of “Zheleznodorozhnikov” “Tandem” (he Head is Irina P. Obolontseva) and dance group “Galkynysh” (the Head is GSTU Master's Degree student Hemra Orazov).
