The Нead of the Internation Department Aleksandr S. Semak visited Beirut (Lebanese Republic) and Damascus (Syrian Arab Republic) from September 16 to 21, 2019 on the delegation of representatives of Belarusian educational institutions.

During the visit, information on the scientific and educational base of GSTU was presented to the Rector of the Lebanese University Dr. Fouad Ayoub and representatives of the University of Arts, Sciences and Technologies.

As a result of bilateral negotiations, an Agreement was concluded with the American University of Culture and Education. The agreement was reached on sending a proposal for studying in GSTU in Master's Degree specialities in English.

During the visit to the Beirut Higher School, Aleksandr S. Semak presented educational opportunities of GSTU for school leavers. After the speech, an informal discussion took place with Lebanese pupils.

During the visit to the Ministry of Higher Education of Syria, the Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Education was signed with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Sergey V. Rudy and the Minister of Higher Education of Syria Dr. Bassam Ibrahim.

Aleksandr S. Semak took part in the VI Syrian International Exhibition of Universities and Education in Damascus, where he consulted potential applicants and their parents on admission conditions to our University.
