GSTU students Aganiyazova Aynur (Economics and Humanities Faculty) and Bashimov Akmuhammet (Automation and Information Systems Faculty) performed at the XII Open Arts Festival of Foreign Students “People's Friendship”.

The festival was held from February 28 to March 1 in Belarusian-Russian University in Mogilev. On the first day of the festival there was a competition program, on the second day there was a concert, where the winners were awarded. During the festival, its participants had the opportunity to see the sights of Mogilev and visit the Open-Air Ethnographic Museum.

At the festival, young performers demonstrated their vocal, choral, instrumental, choreographic and theatrical abilities.

This year students from Turkmenistan, Cameroon, Azerbaijan, China, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, Sudan, Iraq, Iran, Egypt took part in the festival. In total, about one hundred participants from nine higher educational institutions of Minsk, Vitebsk, Gomel, Brest, Baranovichi, and Mogilev came to the festival.

The festival program included a video and photo contest under the topic “Belarus in my heart”. From our University, Ayytmammedov Orazmyrat (Power Engineering Faculty) presented the photos “Thank you for the Victory!” and Novaralyyev Bashimmuhammet (Mechanical Engineering Faculty) presented the photo «Belarus brought us together!».

Students of our University were awarded diplomas of II degree: Bashimov Akmuhammet - the nomination “Vocal and choral art. Solo”, and Novaralyyev Bashimmuhammet - the nomination“Video and photo contest under the topic “Belarus in my heart”. Photo”.
