In the period of February 19-20, 2019 the delegation of administration of five Universities of the Republic of Belarus (Mogilev State University of Food Technologies, Baranovichi State University, Vitebsk State Technological University, Sukhoi State Technical University of Gomel, Polessky State University) visited the Republic of Uzbekistan for the purposes of partnership relation development, academic and research cooperation between higher educational establishments of Belarus and Uzbekistan. Vice Rector for Education and Instruction of GSTU A.V.Sychev was a member of the delegation.

The Belarusian delegation visited the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Professional Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, where they met Vice Minister Begimkulov U.S., Rectors of Uzbek higher educational establishments (Tashkent Institute of Textile & Light Industry, Samarkand Institute of Economics and Services, Samarkand State University, Andijan Engineering Institute, Jizzakh Polytechnical Institute, Center For Cotton Fiber Certification of Uzbekistan, Gulistan State University, Karakalpak State University, Tashkent Chemical-Engineering Institute, Bukhara Institute of Engineering and Technology) and other members of Ministry Administration. On the meeting the perspectives of cooperation on the level of higher educational establishments, the state of national systems of higher education, the possibility of interchange of experience and educational innovations were discussed.

The Belarusian delegation also visited higher educational establishments of Tashkent (Tashkent Institute of Design, Construction & Maintenance of Automotive Roads, Tashkent State Pedagogical University, Tashkent Institute of Textile & Light Industry) and Samarkand (Samarkand State University).

As the result of negotiations between Vice Rector for Education and Instruction A.V.Sychev and Rectors of Jizzakh Polytechnical Institute and Andijan Engineering Institute the Memoranda of cooperative student training were concluded. Also the Memoranda of understanding and cooperation were signed between Sukhoi State Technical University of Gomel and Samarkand Institute of Economics and Services, Samarkand State Architecture-Building Institute and Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages.
