Neutrality Day of Turkmenistan was celebrated at GSTU
On December 12,2018 an international evening of Friendship dedicated to the Neutrality Day of Turkmenistan was held at the hostel cafe No1.
The Neutrality Day is the second most important national holiday in Turkmenistan. On December 12, 1995, the 50th session of the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution, according to which Turkmenistan is recognized as a neutral state and undertakes not to participate in armed conflicts or interfere into the internal affairs of other states.
The evening guests were Elena M. Konkina, Head of the Department of Educational Work with Youth, Alexandr S. Semak, Head of the International Department, Ludmila V. Kulik, Deputy Dean of the Power Engineering Faculty, Olga V. Shvayakova, Deputy Dean of the Economics and Humanities Faculty and other specialists of University Departments. All of the guests congratulated our Turkmen students on the Holiday.
On the event students sang, danced and treated guests with national Turkmenish food.
The international club "Friendship" thanks the university administration and Turkmen students of the Economics and Humanities Faculty for the help in organizing the event.
